Zeichnung, Malerei, Objekt und Keramik bilden die k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis. Im Zentrum stehen Prozesse, in denen Form noch nicht feststeht: die suchende Linie, botanische Strukturen, Ton, Feuer, Zeit und Verwandlung. Die Arbeiten entstehen im Zusammenspiel von Blick und Hand, Zeichenstift und Pinsel, Material und Gestaltung. Ihren gemeinsamen Bezugsraum bildet das Archaische der Natur.<\/p>\n

Eng damit verbunden ist die Forschung zum Visualisieren. Die T\u00e4tigkeit an der Hochschule f\u00fchrt die verschiedenen Arbeitsfelder zusammen und macht sie zum Gegenstand systematischer Untersuchung. Visualisierung dient dabei nicht der nachtr\u00e4glichen Darstellung bereits vorhandenen Wissens, sondern als Erkenntnispraxis: Im Zeichnen, Ordnen und Formen werden Beziehungen sichtbar, Fragen entwickelt und Annahmen \u00fcberpr\u00fcfbar.<\/p>\n

Als Professorin f\u00fcr Visualisieren verankert Tanja Hess diesen Ansatz in Forschung und Hochschullehre. Aus der Verbindung von k\u00fcnstlerischer Praxis, Forschung und Lehre ist Sketch&Draw<\/a> hervorgegangen \u2013 eine Methode des zeichnerischen Denkens.<\/p>\n
